in the cave. A Prayer.

1 I ccry aloud with my voice to the Lord;
I dmake supplication with my voice to the Lord.
2I epour out my complaint before Him;
I declare my ftrouble before Him.
3When gmy spirit
Lit fainted
was overwhelmed within me,
You knew my path.
In the way where I walk
They have ihidden a trap for me.
4Look to the right and see;
For there is jno one who regards me;
Lit Escape has perished from me
There is no lescape for me;
mNo one cares for my soul.

5I cried out to You, O Lord;
I said, “You are nmy refuge,
My oportion in the pland of the living.
6 qGive heed to my cry,
For I am rbrought very low;
Deliver me from my persecutors,
For they are too sstrong for me.
7 tBring my soul out of prison,
So that I may give thanks to Your name;
The righteous will surround me,
For You will udeal bountifully with me.”
