1 I ^ccry aloud with my voice to the Lord;
I ^dmake supplication with my voice to the Lord.
2 I ^epour out my complaint before Him;
I declare my ^ftrouble before Him.
3 When ^gmy spirit ^{▼▼ Lit fainted}was overwhelmed within me,
You knew my path.
In the way where I walk
They have ⁱhidden a trap for me.
4 Look to the right and see;
For there is ^jno one who regards me;
^{▼▼ Lit Escape has perished from me}There is no ^lescape for me;
^mNo one cares for my soul.

5 I cried out to You, O Lord;
I said, “You are ⁿmy refuge,
My ^oportion in the ^pland of the living.
6 ^q“Give heed to my cry,
For I am ^rbrought very low;
Deliver me from my persecutors,
For they are too ^sstrong for me.
7 ^t“Bring my soul out of prison,
So that I may give thanks to Your name;
The righteous will surround me,
For You will ^udeal bountifully with me.”
